AUGUST~ saying goodbye to summer~

It seems just as we start enjoying all the fun activities summer has to offer it ends so quickly. Keyan loves the outdoors... his favorite daily activity... running in the jogger stroller with mom... its great for both of us! He gets his fresh air and I get my excercise! Well here is our month in reveiw....

We started "swim dates" every thursday... Keyan on the left Gideon center Tanner right( he is a few days younger than keyan} and Tyson!

Keyan with his uncle Hoon (tylers brother).... we actually got to attend a ward luau activity this summer... been crazy with our work schedules and Tyler was out of town... we had some great food and entertainment!

Afterwards we were able to spend time with my cousin LaRen! We went to paradise cafe for some good times!

We went to her new house in Saratogo springs! Keyan "broke" it in... tearing apart all her magazines... thanks LaRen for your hospitality!

We bought a new high chair for Keyan to have at grandma's house... a big thankyou to uncle hoon for putting it together as Tyler was out of town.... of course Keyan loves to help with anything mechanical!

We were able to attend a wedding reception for our good friends the Brocks from oregon...we loved seeing their family and congrats Tara and Boyce!

Keyan had his first round of allergies... wasnt feeling 100% !

A week later we were able to attend another wedding reception for our other good friends from oregon!

Ok now we got one!

Keyan is now climbing stairs and very fast! Still learning how to come down slowly.... he is now eating more solid foods... he loves wheat toast, applesauce and not surprisingly spicy food as well. He basically wants to eat whatever we eat now... turns his head to most baby foods he loved just a month ago! Oh well he loves fruit so that is great! He starting clapping last month! Still loves to read his books and is starting to get into some of the baby animal dvds!
